The Encode’s StarkNet Hackaton comes to an end with its prizegiving ceremony after weeks of innovative and experimenting coding, Web3Auth non custodial auth infrastructure stack for dapps and wallets will be supported on StarkNet, useful code for NFT lending auction got written in Cairo.
The news of the day on Starknet is undoubtedly the one about the partnership between Starkware and Web3Auth, the latter being a company building non-custodial auth infrastructure for Dapps and Wallets such as The Auth Network, a permissionless key management tool.
This partnership would address some of the most painful obstacles to mass adoption, and thus Seed phrases management, and it would create Social recovery solutions specifically designed for StarkNet peculiarities. With Social Recovery we mean those processes that automatically split the seed phrase in a network of social entities such as your Google account, your wallet (through a smart contract wallet) and trusted friends that would work together to recover your access( your seed phrase) in case of need.
The Manifesto around the concept of Social Recovery is without any doubts the article of Vitalik himself on the matter.
Obviously, you don’t need me to understand how crucial these practices of Social Recovery tools will be for the further development and adoption of Blockchain technology in general.
But now, let’s relax and enjoy today’s Twitter Recap thread:
Thanks a lot for being here!
