The StarkNet version of NoGame is on Preview mode, Big Web3 Dev Onboarding company arranges for a StarkNet Hackathon during ETHcc on Paris, Order Book Dex leads experimentation on the L3.
The most welcoming News today is definetely gonna be the one aroud the L3 Experimentation led by ZigZag Exchange, one of the most used and active Order Book powered DEXes on the L2 scene (currently on zkSync only) that has announced “InvisibL3”, a STARKs enabled zkRollup which would bring on the table Privacy protection around their trading services.
By reading the article featured on the Recap below, you’ll find out that, with this move, ZigZag not only wants to boost privacy around trading itself but they are eager to develop a scaling layer fully dedicated to Privacy related strategies and needs in order to compete with other Privacy OGs, whether they are Dapps(Tornado cash) or a scalability Layer such as Aztec Protocol.
Privacy is becoming a real issue for traders as the full transparency of Ledger Technologies doesn’t only bring Pros but also cons, in this case beeing Trading Strategy Invalidation/Copy Pasting due to the fact that an address can easily be linked to a successfull Trader plus many other security issues that could be break out due to lack of confidentiality.
ZigZag wants to approach the Privacy field skipping the usual “hash function” strategy but, instead, they would model their Privacy features around “Pedersen Commitments” & “Subaddresses”. In order to find out more about these technical infos, I strongly suggest you to take a deep breath and dive into the ZigZag “InvisibL3” presentation article.
But now, let’s relax and enjoy today’s Twitter Recap thread:
Thanks a lot for being here!
See you tomorrow for another Recap!!
Peace & L2s ❤️
