Yesterday’s Recap of the StarkNet Ecosystem has been sponsored by zkLend, a Market Maker and Lending Protocol on StarkNet which wants to bring DeFi groundbreaking products to everybody: Experienced Degens, Adventurous Newbies and World Wide Institutions. They’re also looking for the following roles to grow their talented Team:
Blockchain/Full Stack Developer (For the latter, No-Crypto experience is fine)
Community Growth Manager
In case you’re interested or you know somebody that could, please get in touch with zkLend through their DM or Discord Server.
Designed in Japan-Metaverse Digital Land Project, aiming at linking Lands with Ens Domains, releases their Demo; Argent offering two Dev Flights/Nights Sponsorship for the StarkNet Hackaton in Amsterdam, StarkNet Dev Bootcamp taking place days before Hackaton.
Lots of stuff going on in StarkNet as usual and therefore I wouldn’t like to repeat myself too much with the concepts I expressed in the previous “Recap Newsletters”.
The only thing I’d like to emphasize today is recommending you to study more about Ethereum, all L2s scaling solutions (StarkNet included) and I would strongly suggest you to consider studying to become a Blockchain Cairo Developer if you’re looking for a career change. It might sound very challenging to most of you and you could be right about that feeling but you should not discourage yourself too much as there are many Friends and Resources waiting to help you thorugh your Journey as a Developer.
Even if you wouldn’t succeed in eventually becoming a Dev because you don’t feel cut out for it or you struggle too much while coding, the technical knowledge accumulated during the study would be a lifechanging tool to be applied on your Investment and Marketing practices.
In fact that’s what exactly happened to me two years ago when I had been attending a full immersion Solidity Dev Course Path for four months (I had zero Programming Experience before that!). As I was about to start applying for some Junior Dev Jobs I simply realized I wasn’t cut out for it, I struggled quite a lot during the course and I wanted and had to focus more on dealing with my trading & investment activities. Well, DeFi Summer arrived just in that period and my Solidity Knowledge helped me a lot by analyizing projects to invest in. Knowing some Cairo Lang could help you out in the same way should a “StarkNet Season” happen in the near future.
In case you’re interested, get in touch with some of the Devs I often feature in the Recap and I’m sure you ‘ll find precious help, and if you’re very talented at coding, you could even find some funding to support your studies and practice.
THIS IS NOT FINANCIAL/CAREER ADVICE
But now, let’s relax and enjoy today’s Twitter Recap thread:
Thanks a lot for being here!
See you tomorrow for another Recap!!
Peace & L2's ❤️
