Yesterday’s Recap of the StarkNet Ecosystem has been sponsored by Oasis, a NFT marketplace on Starknet where you can Mint, Buy and Sell a lot of interesting creations. For the time being Oasis is Live on TestNet and they are looking for hiring both Blockchain & Full Stack Developers (also without Crypto Experience).
If you’re interested or you know somebody that could be, please get in touch with them through their Discord .
What a busy day the last one has been guys! Making this Recap has been quite tough as Crypto Twitter was full with StarkNet related news and developments. But I made it buddies!
Competition between StarkNet tech STARKs and zkSync’s SNARKs promises to become pretty intense in the coming months and years. According to StarkNet Evangelist Odin, STARKs could have an advantage as they’re said to be faster, more secure and more transparent while SNARKs are considered slower and requiring trusted settings. However, we’re such in an early stage that being too much either STARKist or SNARKist is not worth it, on the other hand, the competition between these two scaling core Tech solutions is going to stimulate innovation and growth in the L2 Galaxy.
Starkware is set to hit a 6 Billion valuation on their latest funding round. As most of you know, Starkware is the Software company that developed STARKs, the core scaling tech behind StarkNet. Both their growth and their strong commitment to let StarkNet reach decentralization in the near future is something very promising for the StarkNet as it can rely, in its early stage, on a solid and established Web3 Software company that would take care of building strong foundations to enhance better and safer composability and scalability. In fact I like comparing Starkware’s role for StarkNet with the one played by ConsenSys in the early days of Ethereum. Web3 companies aligned with the ethos of Ethereum are a big ally in this long path towards generational Tech and Spiritual changes aimed at decentralizing our society and beat Moloch, the God of Human Coordination Failure.
But now, let’s relax and enjoy today’s Twitter Recap thread:
Thanks a lot for being here!
See you tomorrow for another Recap!!
Peace & L2's ❤️
